Jugebox98
I'm pretty new into these modding stuff so I guess I might ask help here and get into beginning: My plan is to mod my '99 version of LR to correspond the Demo physics. It might be just one simple data swap but which data and if it's not then what to do? I want to do this because my brother have lost my '01 copy of the game and I wanted to mess into that version due the different physics. Glitch hunting purposes too! Non important ↓ We also kinda miss the Finnish language due being Finnish ourselves but I think that it's more impossible to do due Demo lacking the cutscene data (Or does it?). Ps. I have JAMExctractor tool and I know.... well basicly that in the JAM file there's literally everything that I need. I know nothing else
aidenpons
I don't think it's possible. The JAM file doesn't contain the physics, it just contains all the data - like AI, checkpoints, levels, powerup positions, cutscenes, text... ... The actual physics will be coded in the .exe . You might get nice results by swapping the .exe but as you saw on the Discord discussion they'll call for different files and so you might not get anywhere. That said, give it a whirl..... but... you'd need the complete .exe at which point you may as well just use the 2001 version...... so that's not very useful. That said, I'm unaware of any physics differences - what have you found?
grappigegovert
As far as I know the only physics related data in the jam are things like collision maps and surface properties (e.g. friction).
