SebtheRipper
Hey there People, so I recently got Island Running on windows 7 and it works fine except for one detail: the game doesnt respond to mouse clicks interacting with the game world (e.g. The car or jet ski symbols you need to click to initiate construction). It does however register mouse walking input (i.e. Holding down the left mouse button and navigating the cursor along the screen edges as a means of controling motion) as well as any menu input. Any ideas what might cause the problem?
lol username
First, make sure you have all EXEs (config, isle, and legoisle) set to run as admin - right click on them, select properties, and tick the box for it under the compatibility tab. That'll make sure the config files are being saved in the expected locations. Then, open config.exe, click Advanced, and experiment with graphics mode (Ramp Emulation, RGB Emulation, etc). (The bug is, on most relatively modern computers, in the default graphics mode, clicks will only register on one of the model's materials - and that usually ends up being a rather inconvenient one, at that.)
