Game just started crashing on startup

I had gotten the game to work for several days of gameplay, but suddenly the LegoRR file has no icon and it crashes on startup. I haven't made any changes to instigate this.

Anybody know what could be going on here?

I'm going to try and reinstall the game when I find time and see how it goes.

This is very odd behaviour and I can't say I've ever heard of it happen specifically to LRR.

Is there anything on your PC they may alter your files? What is the crash you are receieving?

I have reinstalled the game and it's now running properly again, however I have discovered that if I try to mod the game by editing the LegoRR1 file, it crashes on startup until I replace the edited file with the original again. Does anybody have experience in this? I'm new to modding.

You'll need to unpack your WADs before you can do much modding. You can then run wad-less, if you like, by moving the contents of the newly created LegoRR0 and LegoRR1 folders into Data and moving (or renaming) your WADs. If you want to use WADs for your mods, you'll need to recompile them each time.

We can help you out with most modding things, if you ask!
