Been enjoying a new hobby of mine lately- old computers made in LDD. I've already made a separate thread about the first computer I attempted- the Heathkit Zenith H88/89 terminal computer.

I'll post links to the projects as I finish them here. Done quite a few already.

Each one takes a while to finish, but they can be quite relaxing to make!

I find these models legitimately impressive since from a distance, you can barely tell they're even made from LEGO blocks. The amount of detail you put into them is very much staggering, so I can definitely see that they do take quite a while to finish up.

Thanks! I try to model about 40% or so of the internals. Cables are a b*tch to work with in LDD. Great way to relax and listen to music or a podcast though.

This isn't a MOC- but I figured I might as well add this here-

This is a Heathkit/ Zenith H-88/89 Terminal Computer, with a Heathkit H-14 dot matrix printer, and custom fabricated Pertec dual 8" external floppy drive with built in processors. This isn't everything I have, I recently acquired the software for the PC. These were my grandfather's (except the Spartus alarm clock- that's mine). Been trying to piece together as much as possible from what he had. Also scrounging for new-old stock blank media- specifically 8" disks- although I don't know if the Pertec drives use SSDD, SSSD, or Sectored disks.
