Texture Crash

So I downloaded myself a tga converter so I can convert image files to that so I can later use em as MIP files for LR2 which I thought would work. However when I compile the textures and load up the game it crashes. The same thing happens when I use the hex editor to change the material to the correct color. Can someone tell me why this is or do I have to get a newer laptop that actually works

What converter are you using? Also, did you fix the problem mentioned in the other topic (your face textures being 64x65 instead of 64x64)?

 

I haven't tried it with LR2 specifically, but XnConvert can output TGA files, as well as doing other things like batch cropping, resizing, etc: https://www.xnview.com/en/xnconvert/

The program is literally called "easy convert bmp to that" cause again I can only work with bmp files but I never mentioned I have to use an old version of Microsoft Paint since no other programs will install cause they're too new for the laptop to handle. Is there also a solution to the he editing crashing as well? No matter what I do with hex editor it always crashes. Also with the cropping since I'm not good at telling what size is what I downloaded other textures that are the same size. For that XnConvert I get an error message before it starts up
