Robb
Hey, does anyone know the differences between these options? I know that D3D HAL is hardware, and the other 3 are software. But does anyone know the benefits/disadvantages or anything about each? I take it D3D HAL is the best but it seems to not work on modern pc's. I use MMX. mumboking
I'm not aware of any differences apart from D3D HAL allowing translucent polygons instead of being dithered and textures being filtered. All I know is that D3D HAL often has issues (even on my mum's Win98 machine).
