now that I have finally managed to change the developer.cfg it is still a problem sometimes as the game make changes to the values of the game.

like this

EnginePower = 4000.000000
[cCore, TR3, FLOAT] (0.000000 .. 3000.000000)        EnginePowerBest = 0.000000
[cCore, TR3, FLOAT] (0.000000 .. 500.000000)

then i start the game and try if the car is any faster but it aint but its slower or the same. then i close the game to take a look att my changes then it is lik this.

EnginePower = 500.000000
[cCore, TR3, FLOAT] (0.000000 .. 3000.000000)        EnginePowerBest = 0.000000
[cCore, TR3, FLOAT] (0.000000 .. 500.000000)

like you see the game has change enginepower=4000 to enginepower=500 whats the problem with an engine with a power of 4000?

but al the other things is ok and the strange thing is that i can save the file with this

EnginePower = 50.000000
[cCore, TR3, FLOAT] (0.000000 .. 3000.000000)        EnginePowerBest = 0.000000
[cCore, TR3, FLOAT] (0.000000 .. 500.000000)

then it is 50.   am i getting over the maximum value of the engine and then the game take its to the highest value that works with the game or what?

much help would be helpful. xD sorry for my english. hope you all understand

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what's happening. Maybe Xiron could figure out how to get past those limits with Cheat Engine?

Ok then no dragster engine in a road car. But it sounds strange if a dragster car is using engine with 4000 or over in power but in road cars thats to much. :(

Terrev do you know whats the difrence between engine power and engine best power?
