Changing LRR's language

Hello,

I've managed to install LRR using UniversalExtractor, extracting data1.cab. I've noticed the audio-files in the Sounds -> Streamed subfolders are all in Spanish. The text in-game is Dutch. I bought LRR in the Netherlands, back when it was still sold by stores. I wonder if there's a way to replace the Spanish .wav files by their Dutch alternatives. If so, is it possible for someone to share their Dutch, or even English .wav files here, or would that be illegal?

Thanks in advance already.

It's okay to do that - we can throw around as much as we like except anything ending in .exe (for LRR at least).

Isn't there someone who's Dutch around here somewhere...? Most of us will have the English copy, so you needn't worry about finding that.

Do you have the English copy? If so, could you share the files with me?

Here's the \Data\Languages\ folder from an English copy: http://oresome.rockraidersunited.com/download/364

It seems to be pretty much just the mission briefings and a few splash images. The level names and menu text must be hardcoded(?)

Edit: And because I forgot here is the English voices separately: http://oresome.rockraidersunited.com/download/365

Thanks. So the weird part is, my LRR folder doesn't seem to have a Voices or Languages folder within the Data->Sounds folder. Likewise adding the Voices folder doesn't change the voices used to refer to buildings/vehicles/walls and such. I think the voices come with the LegoRR0.wad or LegoRR1.wad files as the voices changed after I switched these out with an English mod's .wad files.

The voices of the mission briefings/levelnames/succes- and failuremessages seem to be a story apart though. These most certainly are in the Data->Sounds->Streamed folder. Could you give me the files 'n folders in your Data->Sounds->Streamed folder?

If you are running the game with the.wad files still present, then adding the files won't do anything as the files contained in the .wads overpower the ones that aren't.

I'll get those files to you later.

Level names and menu text are all defined in Lego.cfg, in LegoRR1.WAD. In fact, anything relating to a name is in there.

Either someone can upload it for you or you can get the existing one off Oresome that has the two edits to enable debug keys (I think?) and no videos playing.
