LEGO Awesomeness

I don't think anyone's posted this?

I saw this MOC on Flickr and passed it on to Jamesster, but I haven't seen it here. The picture I saw was from a convention with an overhead view, but this image has a side view. I'd love to see how the creator designed those massive wheels.

I love this guy's stopmotions. They are freaking hilarious. Maybe they're not up your street, but they're definitely up my street. Here are his best (my opinion)

Note: After the credits he always has a little cutscene and his signature annoying noise. :P

Going on with the LEGO digital paintings, this fella has some pretty interesting Bionicle art. A unique take on the characters of each of the six original Toa.

My favourite has to be Kopaka below, it is exactly how I would have pictured him. Not so sure about the other characters though, however I still love their interpretations.

The aforementioned link has the rest of them, and he has a few other Bionicle art pieces lying around his gallery too.

Oh, and also... Some Aussie desert place made a life-size LEGO forest for a small event. It's since been removed unfortunately, but it's still awesome.

I have to say this: Onua on his site looks like the Unraveler from Time Raiders. Or maybe the Upgrade Tower/whatever.

Saw this on Tumblr today:

Check out the photo description too, it's part of a pretty interesting thing: http://www.brothers-brick.com/2013/10/21/symphony-of-construction-a-harmony-of-lego-and-music/

Holy ship.

What's really impressive is that it's not huge or overly complex. But despite that every piece works together to form a beautiful evocative Moc that is one of the best I've seen in some time.

I can't believe that no-one has posted this here yet, but this has to be one of the best brickfilms out there.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, the next Henri & Edmond episode, Plastic Love, is currently being crowdfunded over on Ulule (its a European version of Kickstarter). Check out the project page here!

Oh, and here's their campaign video:

Dunno if this is too big. Anyway, yeah, this is amazing, especially the custom decals he added to it.

A phenomenal LEGO city someone's made, including sets ranging from current to very old. Should bring a little nostalgia to some members here.

I aspire to making my own LEGO city of this scale one day...

ALL.

OF.

MY.

YES.

Also, it's amusing: with that Pinball article, in the first picture you have the machine and then this petty little Mindstorms poster which has a pathetic bulldozer on it. l405G.jpg

It's one thing to do whimsical magic houses in 2 dimensions on a piece of paper. A person who can do that well is considered a good cartoonist.

It's an entirely other thing to render such a reality defying house in 3D, physical reality. A person who does that is a genius.
