Kerkythea is a program to render photorealistic images using 3D models. Recently I've been using it for fun and to explore 3D rendering. I use Sketchup to model the 3D models and export it to Kerkythea.

It's been a long time...

...how have you been?

First render, I think some of you have remembered this.

I'm thinking about rendering an energy crystal or LEGO Brick.

Woah, nice.

It's even free I see! And has a linux version!

I don't know if I'll be using it, but it is awesome.

Well no offense to your choice or skill, but any render can render photorealistically given good models and textures. and (I repeat, no offense intended) that render up there doesn't really look photorealistic :/

POV-Ray can easily do photorealism too.

Right now I'm not that great, my stuff isn't top-quality compared to the ones on the actual website. Plus, it's easier to use than POV-Ray.
