CTXXTC Posted December 1, 2010 Share Posted December 1, 2010 Chapter 1: Operation SND Part 1 Corporal Rook woke up in his ship, the RRU Spirit he saw dead bodies lying on the floor, he stood up, took a gun from one of his dead comrades and prepared for action, the ship was dead not a thing in sight. After travelling through the ship Rook spotted a squad of RRU troopers fighting PM troopers, he immediatly went to assist. After helping the squad he fought his way to the bridge where the crew and the admiral was. Rook was suprised to see that they were still here at this point. Rook went to the Admiral to get his brief, after talking to the Admiral he was given a special vest and a helmet + night vision goggles to assist him on getting out the ship. During his escape he was contacted by a pilot that he should come to the designated LZ that he has shown him on his HUD. Rook fought his way to the LZ to be greeted by Dave, his best friend since school, they got aboard the Escape ship. Upon escaping the ship a Power Miner cruiser appeared out of a portal and shot down the Spirit then a fighter shot down the ship, it sent the escape ship crashing into a barren green planet, Dave was killed upon impact by a shard of glass while Rook was heavily injured by impact, Rook crawled out to witness what the planet was. He healed himself, covered Daves body with some sheets found on the ship and grabbed a B89X Energy Rifle and prepared to journey the barren planet. End of part 1. CTXXTC Posted December 2, 2010 Author Share Posted December 2, 2010 Chapter 1: Operation SND Part 2 Rook travelled through the wastelands, he started losing air so he returned to the ship to collect his hazmat suit. Upon arriving he noticed that Dave's body was gone he knew something was wrong. He quickly left the ship and tried to get as far away as possible. When the ship was out of his sight he noticed a rundown fortress, he also heard gunfire. When he went close he noticed an RRODST squad from the RRU Spirit fighting zombie creatures, he readied his gun and went to assist the squad. They fought long eventually till there was only 4 men left (Rook amongst them). Fleet control contacted the Raiders and said that a rescue transport would evacuate them. The squad took a damaged jeep from the Spirit and drove off to the extraction point. In the later stages of the run the jeep exploded by a surviving PM squad killing the driver. The remaining 3 troops kill any resistance and the evac chopper is waiting for them, one trooper is sniped by a bleeding PM leaving Rook and SGT Woods alive. Woods safely gets on the chopper while Rook trips over a rock breaking his ankle. Behind him is a swarm of zombies, Rook desperately crawls to the chopper and is forced to make a leap, however one zombie scratches Rooks' arm and Rook becomes infected. Woods kills the zombie and helps Rook get in. Upon arriving at the LMS Concorde, Rook is given an artificial arm to prevent infection and is promoted to Space Captain and Woods becomes a Commander for their actions on Lunar Delta. Woods is later given command of Bravo company consisting of 1000 RRODST's with Rook also becoming one serving as Woods' second in command. End of Part 2.
