Lego Game Music Location

Here I have been documenting the locations of LEGO game music. Below are what RRU has found:

LEGO Island - JUKEBOX.SI, unknown how to read.

LEGO Creator - N/A

LEGO Loco -

LEGO Chess - .MID files under staunton.

LEGO Racers - .VOX files disguised as .TUN files. Have strange static.

LEGO Rock Raiders - On the disc.

Legoland - DirectMusic format.

LEGO Stunt Rally - Inside the ___ archive, but unreadable.

LEGO Alpha Team -

LEGO Island 2 - DirectMusic format. Confusing because many tunes have variations used depending upon your actions.

LEGO Racers 2 - .1-.5 extensions. Easy to convert (WMP can play them without even converting), but there's a specific process needed to get custom music.

Island Xtreme Stunts - OGG files.

Drome Racers - Same as Racers 2.

LEGO Football Mania - DirectMusic format. Each world has its own file.

Any games I don't have or forgot. Just thought I'd say this and ask if anyone knows where these can be found.

I'll install Islands and Chess and look when I get home.

Lego Island 2 music seems to get affected when you change files in

\LEGO Island 2\_data\sounds\DirectMusic\xx

when I change them around, the music doesn't play.

Dome Racers is in "Dome Racers\Game Data\Music\" they are in wav format but just have numbers as file extensions.

You forgot to add LEGO Soccer/Football Mania to the list.

the Bionicle Heroes music is EPIC! the game was pretty crappy though... unfortunately. but man, the music was great!

wait a second ...... where are the RR music files? I can't find them on the CD!

This topic is relevant my intrests.

My brother found my old Loco, racers 1, island 1, and Legoland discs. I've yet to look deeply into either of them, but the Lego island music might be within the SI files.

I would suggest you ask Addictgamer where the music is LMS Engineer, or you can just download them HERE off of RRU.

wait a second ...... where are the RR music files? I can't find them on the CD!

The music is burnt to the disc like an audio cd. If you put it in a CD Player it will play the songs. You'll have to rip the music off the disc.

Is that legal and if it is, how?? I'm a noob when it comes to disks.... I messed up my disc somehow...

it is legal to rip music off any other music disk so I guess it is legal

For LEGO Island 1, there is music in "JUKEBOX.SI" located on the disc.

How do you convert the LEGO Island 2 files and where to find the parachute training music?

Lego Rock Raiders plays in CD player all songs or only mission's music?

the JUKEBOX.SI file can be read with audacity if you import it as raw data and set the right parameters (it is 16-bit 11.025 khz

PCM for in-game music and 8-bit 22.050 khz PCM for unused music).

Absolutely no reason to do this. We've had tools that can extract the music for ages.
