Lair
It is an AVI codec. ask cyrem
Addictgamer
Actually, you could just run a search on the old forum. It will be there somewhere. @ lair: obviously its an avi codec, but you really don't need to include the avi part.
Anonymouse
AVI is just the encapsulation format. You don't need a codec for the avi. But there is a codec that you need, can't remember the name.
Addictgamer
Like i said, do a search on the old forum and you'll find the topic and the codec.
Lair
Addict and Anon: ??? Yes you do. You need to download a codec for AVI or Windows Vista wont ever recognise it as a medai file
Addictgamer
Thats why i said search the old forum... Now, for further discussion, we should start a different topic since this is heading off-topic. Did it work?
Anonymouse
Lair, it isn't an AVI codec. As I said AVI is the encapsulation format, and the actually encoded video (for which you need the codec) is inside the video. It could be WMV too (a different encapsulation format) and still use the same codec. *searching old forum* UPDATE: Find the codec here
