Yo peeps!

I'm still not dead! 've been very busy with my musical projects (Producing and performing), and also with some other programming/game sideprojects (To gain experience for RtPu).

The reason for this post is that I've thought of a logo for RtPu. And with some help from Kmlkmljkl we made this logo. I hope you like it (Feedback is welcome too)!

(Sorry for the watermark)

Best of luck,

Pascal.

As I said, some colour might be nice: Planet U is full of the glowing red eyes of Rock Monsters, the green glow of Energy Crystals, the many lights on the buildings, the vibrant green slugs... even the walls are brown.

It seems odd to have a grayscale logo...

On the design itself - It looks pretty good. The scratchiness & general wear-and-tear of the design is quite fitting for an underground mining group.

Maybe have text on the right of the logo too, in the original LRR font?

Overall, I like it - it's the grayscale that throws me off...

Thanks for the feedback! You're right, colour would be good. Back to the drawing table I guess :P

As for the text, it might be better to exclude the text from the logo and just add it seperatly when it should be used.

(Some time ago I found a font similar to the original LRR logo font, but it had stripes in it and costed alot of money)

Also, for the people reading this comment; what kind of multiplayer would you like to see in RtPu?

Wow, that logo design is actually really really nice. I'd agree with aiden that it'd be nice to see this in other colours too (mainly the light green of the power crystal), but I'd say keep the majority of the design intact as it's actually bloody great. As far as adding a title is concerned, I'd stick it right in the middle in a simplistic font. I'll try and whip up an example of what I mean at some point.

Thanks for your feedback! I've been thinking of coloring the crystal in the middle green, not sure about the outer ring yet. Excited to see your example! :)

You might want to save it to your harddisk instead of copying and pasting. Sounds like you have problems with the transperancy

I'd say keep the whole thing one uniform colour, as if it was spray-painted on using a stencil or something. Makes it a bit more edgy.

Oh and by the way, has the game got a plot yet? I've sorta had some mildly-overambitious ideas for what direction the game could go in plot-wise, so that's something I guess.

It has! I think I wrote it somewhere in the RtPu bible that's hidden somewhere :P
