Shay Posted February 10, 2017 Share Posted February 10, 2017 Yesterday, someone on the RRU Discord suggested the idea of a top-down LRR game in the style of Lego Loco. I have begun making sprites for such a game! Here is a gif I put together of a Raider carrying an Energy Crystal, to demonstrate the sprite style. Of course, I still have to make the sprites for him walking up and down, as well as his arm-swinging animation for when he's walking without holding anything. You can move in the 4 cardinal directions, but with side-to-side sprites, much like EarthBound. I will make animations for using tools, and I'll try to make vehicle sprites too.
