LEGO Rock Raiders Lego Rock Raiders: Masterpiece Edition?

Does anyone here know the difference between the regular game and the Masterpiece Edition?

The Masterpiece Collection was a repackaging of most of the Lego games made prior to 2001 to make them look better than just plain ol' regular video games and also price them a little more cheaply. There aren't any functional differences between those versions and the original releases, Rock Raiders included.

You forgot to mention that the music is completely missing for some reason, despite music settings still being there.

It's like that on several releases due to how the music in LRR works. It's written on the disc in such a way that you can pop your Rock Raiders disc into a CD player and listen to the music... But some publishers didn't know that, I suppose? And just gave the discs the normal game data, missing out on the music. The game still functions normally, it just... Doesn't play music. So it's not too hard to imagine it's just an oversight. My copy of the game came from the LEGO Adventure Pack and was missing the music as well.

I feel like the game is better without the music. More atmospheric. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Yeah I definitely feel those three tracks would have gotten old fast over the course of the game. Same reason I usually keep music disabled in LU, LI2, etc.

It's a hell of a lot more deserving of it than some of the other lego games that got it lol

LRR will always be a true masterpiece for me.
