Nitegeist
Hey people, i used to post here a while ago and now i need a hobby again so i'm back. I'm experimenting with some high-res, highly detailed textures, and when they are far away from the camera they look terrible, even with anisotropic filtering cranked up to the max in the Nvidia control panel. Now, i'm no texture expert, but if i'm not mistaken, this can be fixed if the texture is mipmapped. Does anyone know if there's a way to use mipmaps? (or something similar?) mumboking
I don't think this is possible without the source code. EDIT: Huh. Apparently with some older Nvidia drivers, there was a "Force mipmap" option.
