Island Xtreme Stunts on Windows 7 x64

3 posts in this topic

I've been having this problem running IXS on my desktop (windows 7 professional 64-bit), when I try to run the game, I get the desktop menu prompt, but when I select, "Play Island Xtreme Stunts" it does nothing. Literally, it closes, no error message, nothing, I even checked the task manager to make sure it wasn't running in the background. Everything else seemed to go smoothly, installation went without a hitch. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've already tried a few different compatibility settings, (98/me and xp sp2) as well as running it as administrator, and changing the color/fullscreen options. none of which changed anything.

update: Xiron's patch along with the no CD configuration fixed it.

I tried that. Didn't work. :S According to this,

I have the disc from the box collection, so it isn't even supposed to work.
