Also, here's what their "in the works" page for LEGO Racers 2 said:

Firstly, we want to say that we had NOTHING to do with the development of LEGO Racers 1 on PSX, N64 and PC - that was by a totally different developer and has no similarity to our game, other than it was also based on LEGO! We've designed LEGO Racers 2 with a focus on racing fun for the 6-9 year old audience, but also with a rewarding gameplay mechanic that will appeal to the older gamer in the same way as Diddy Kong Racing and Micro Machines were young at heart but also a gamer's game. We can't say too much about it at the moment, as it is under development and details of the gameplay are strictly confidential. However, as we approach the launch date we will be able to reveal some of the cool and innovative features that we think will make LEGO Racers 2 a 'must-have' PS2 title next year.

I believe LEGO Racers LBE (Location-Based Entertainment?) is the game found the LEGO Rocket Racers house at LEGOLAND in Windsor, England. Looks fun though: Video, is steered with an actual wheel.

We're well aware, there's several topics about it around the forums.
