Ideas for how to beat the final boss of LDD?

While messing around in LEGO Digital Designer, I encountered an unusual mode where you actually have to fight a number of bosses. They were, for the most part, pretty easy... except for the final boss. Rest to say I've never seen a boss this difficult - even Spiritual Larsa from Mushihimesama Futari Black Label isn't this hard.

Does anyone here know how to beat the final boss of LDD?

This is a reboot of this thread: https://community.lego.com/t5/LEGO-VIDEO-GAMES/LDD-Final-Boss-is-Too-Hard/m-p/8011776

LEGO Digital Designer is challenging, but keep at it, and eventually you'll beat the final boss.  Here's a few tips that can help you:

  • During the first phase of the battle, you need to find all possible combinations of the 2x4 bricks that are thrown at you.  Remember that two bricks can be combined in 24 ways, three bricks in 1,060 ways, and four bricks in 102,981,500 ways.  It takes a ridiculously long time, but just keep trying, and eventually you'll get through this part.
  • When the moon appears, sink the spesship and the Blacktron will spontaneously combust.
  • Grab the axe on the bridge to initiate phase two of the boss fight.  Don't get fooled; when the boss falls off the bridge, it's not over yet, because then Willa the Witch appears and casts a magic spell that makes the boss stronger.
  • Run!  Come on, step it up!  You gotta go fast!  Or else you will die because the boss will catch you snooping as usual, you see, and then you'll know how a meatball feels.
  • When you pass the jail with the "NO PIZAZ" sign, make sure you grab the old spices (pepper, salt, ketchup, and paprika) from the pizzeria, because they'll give you POWER!  But don't feed them to the boss, because the brick you save might be your own.
  • Once you pick up the wrench, build a sentry to take out a large chunk of the boss's health.  Just make sure you install a firewall to prevent-SPAH SAPPIN' MAH SENTRY!
  • At this point, the boss will start spawning flowers everywhere.  Change them to cups.  If they're red, change their color to blue.  Then place green bricks and red bricks around the boss to force him to stay in place.
  • Finally, throw the Constructopedia at the boss.  It'll instantly defeat him in one hit while he screams "NO! NOT INTO THE PIT! IT BURNS!"
  • YOU'RE WINNER!

Just a word of caution, though.  In some copies of LEGO Digital Designer, here's a game-breaking glitch that will cause a blue screen of death because the boss is so epic.  If this happens, Ctrl+Alt+Del and Alt+F4 until your computer explodes.

Ohhh yeah, this is a pretty hard part. On the BONKLE 2015 Hype Train, use the Thomas the Tank Engine communist waffle on the Papa Brickolini ghosts. If pacman rushes with the chainsaw, please, PLEASE don't use the Life on Mars Screwdriver like the other players or you'll die. Its best if you pick up Rodeo Cowboy Lamp and throw him at Pacman and feed him cookies untill he explodes. After that, Captain Indigo and the hype train should explode. I don't know what to do at the part with Dr. Cyber and mind-controlled Eamon though.

Well, I finally figured it out. You have to do the following in the exact order:

  1. Submit to the party escort. They will take you to a secret room where you can press the hype button to launch the hype rocket.\
  2. The hype rocket must be steered into OGEL Island. This will break the island in half, disabling the boss's shield generator.
  3. Then, you have to enter the Konami code to prevent Barron Von Barron from crossing the bridge to where you are.
  4. Throw Pizzas at the Pizzeria to damage the boss's first form.
  5. When you beat the final boss's first form, it will transform into a Blacktron cruiser. You will need to use the Arwing to chase it.
  6. After flying through the asteroid thicket, you will catch up to the Blacktron cruiser. Shoot it down to beat the second form - this is the easiest stage of the battle.
  7. In its third form, it will throw 24 2x4 bricks at you. You need to figure out every combination of these bricks before being able to damage the boss.
  8. Throw PAC-MAN at the boss to damage it. You will find him on one of the upper platforms.

I have yet to beat the boss's final form, though.

So I figured it out. You have to grab the 15 bonkles and throw them at Dr. Cyber, he should transform into Skilletron. Throw the eggs and bacon on to his skillet. Once this has been done, Dr. Cyber should transform into Lord Cyber. Pick up the ark of the covenant and throw it at him. Activate Norton Firewall and Trucker Santa will drive into hospital. Headbutt him 100 times until his head is huge and throw him at Lord Cyber. Once eamon is out of his transe, drive to the leaning tower of pizza and ask the pizza gods for a pizza turret. Don't ask for the ostrich or he'll eat you. Fire at King Kaukha and he'll transform into a giant pixelly mess, and then go to the TT HQ. Fight your way up to the top of the building and Jon Burton will be riding the unused boga model from LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game. The LEGO TT games on display will grow arms and legs. Defeat them in this order:

LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy

BIONICAL Heroes

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

LEGO Batman: The Video Game

If you get it wrong the TT games will respawn stronger and bigger. If you get it right Jim Burton will melt and the boga will transform into Blimpy. Get in blimpy and fly into Lord Cyber's face. Lord Cyber will fall on the leaning tower of pizza and turn it into the even more leaning tower of pizza. This will please King Kaukha and turn him back to normal.

If you have done this correctly, proceed to Pheonyx's provided steps.

You have to go to the secret cave on LEGO Island, and open the chest until you find the hidden treasure of Papa Brickolini: The Pizza Laser.

Then, waves pf floating torso minions will spawn. Kill them until enough power-ups are dropped to bring you into full power mode. Then the first form of the final boss will appear.

He'll look vaguely similar to the Infotreeiac in this stage. When he uses his first spell, dodge all the green-red bricks and move close to him. Rapidly firing the Pizza Laser should bring him into his next phase, in which he becomes a giant version of the Creator Wizard.

Then, Gilgamesh, Master Chief, and Arceus will appear. Switch your class to healer and focus on healing Master Chief only.

When Creator Wizard uses Tutorial Mode, quickly run behind Arceus and count to doughnut. You will endure Tutorial Mode.

Then, the boss will change into a Blacktron Spessship. You must go inside, and wait until the ship is above the moon. Then, you have 10 minutes before it fires a planet destroying laser to disable all the ships systems and sink it.

That's when the hardest part of the battle begins. The boss will turn into Eamon, and he'll summon armies of skeletons. Run from them while collecting 4000 energy crystals to power RRU Tower. If you go over 4000, game over. There must be exactly 4000 energy crystals for you to launch the ultimate attack, which launches Wognif's entire LEGO sword model collection at the skeletons.

Quisoves Potoo

When you get to the door with the three Ogel-drones, ask the one on the left to recite pi backwards. Take his answer, and choose the door that coresponds to the fourth-root of the answer he gives you, times -2.

After that, it's a cinch, if you remembered to bring Matoro with you (he has a great singing-voice, after all.)

By the way, I recently discovered that Nemo Aliqui, the lead developer, also worked on the Postcard video game. I thought the dancing-colander puzzle was familiar.
