Hi everyone!

I thought it would be helpful to say how I got Lego Chess to work on Windows 7. I don't know whether it will work for everybody, but it worked for me.

Lego Chess would not install on my system, even with compatibility mode, so I did the following:

1. Install Lego Chess on a Windows XP computer.

2. Transfer the Lego Chess folder from Program Files onto Windows 7.

3. Set the application "Lego Chess" to Windows 95 compatibility mode.

4. Play! You should now be able to play the game, by clicking on the application "Lego Chess." Note, though, that some sound effects won't play (such as the king talking) and it will still crash sometimes (occasionally after cutscenes, and apparently always if you win in story mode), but the effects of crashes are considerably lessened due to the fact that you can save whenever you want.

Hope this helps.
