EDIT: Just found an interesting comment on this article from a certain "jon_tt"... A couple of facts about the game. Expansion packs start at $15. All gameplay shown so far is from the starter set - the portal section alone includes 9 test chambers, all included in the starter set. The portal level pack will add many more test chambers. The portal gun isn't used much in the footage shown so far as that is all from the starter set that doesn't include Chell, so needs to be playable by the starter set characters. And the best thing about this event? There's no SDCC badge needed to enter, so if you're nearby you'll be able to get in for free. Hooray! I've been somewhat on the fence recently trying to decide whether or not I want to get LEGO Dimensions, being as it would be the first TT LEGO game I'd be buying in a long time. I bet Steven Merchant would voice Wheatley, but apart from a small cameo appearance at the end of the trailer, theres no visual in-game confirmation Wheatley will be making an appearance. Oh, by the way, has anyone posted, or plan to post, this?; Someone on Twitter, by the name of "Laura S", posted this up, and judging by the signature on the top right, I'm assuming Peter Capaldi was signing these at SDCC or some other event.
