It's that time of year! The day we gather round to give and also get cool stuff! What stuff did you get? What stuff did you give? Share your excitement here.

Four RoboRiders, 8266 Spyder Slayer from Cyber Slam, and a 1998 copy of LEGO Creator (I only had a 2000 copy). I also got a bunch of Star Wars Mini sets from 2003-04 that my mom came across at a second hand store.

I've set a lot of my Christmas money aside for the upcoming BIONICLE sets - those will have to wait a few days, though.

Post away! Just because all that I ever get is LEGO doesn't mean it has to be the focus of the topic - just whatever is of interest to you.

Quisoves Potoo

I am now the proud owner of Rock Raiders!

Additionally, I received a Hobbit LEGO set, Attack of the Wargs; four Doctor Who books, Managra, Shadow in the Glass, Engines of War, and Beautiful Chaos; a recording of The Grand Duke (the last of the Gilbert and Sullivan operettas); Steampunk LEGO (No Starch Press); and more.

Phantom Terror

Had a rather small Christmas this year, but it was still a fun one! This year I received

  • A stockingfull of goodies consisting of sugary goodness that my parents never buy unless there's some sort of special occasion.
  • Two Kraw sets (My mom didn't realize, so I'm going to exchange one of them)
  • The standard hygienic supplies that will float me through the zombie apocalypse
  • 4 new pants. My legs are growing too fast; I got pants for my birthday too...
  • 3 Halo figures I needed for my collection.
  • A $30 check
  • And some storage bins for my LEGO collection

Apparently my grandparents still have some presents in transit for me, so I'll patiently wait for those now. ^^

Seems like an opportune occasion to divulge my Christmas LEGO accumulations...

70815-1 LEGO Movie Super Secret Police Dropship

70812-1 LEGO Movie Creative Ambush

70720-1 LEGO Ninjago Hover Hunter

70724-1 LEGO Ninjago Ninja Copter

5004076-1 LEGO Minifigure Gift Set (Target Exclusive)

21115-1 LEGO Minecraft First Night

Bionicle Rahi Beasts guidebook

10664-1 LEGO Creative Tower (Quantity 2)

With regards to the Creative Tower, the set does not appear to be widely available (I only recall sighting one at Toys R Us with a price of $70, at minimum). However, on Thanksgiving evening, day prior to Black Friday, Walmart was offering the set at the superfluously discounted price of $30, or roughly $32.40 counting tax. At 1,615 pieces and a price-to-part ratio, discounting tax, of 53.8 parts per dollar, or 49.8 parts per dollar including tax, this offer was an unmistakable and irremissible bargain.

Instinctively, I dragged my parents to the proximate Walmart,

-2015 LEGO Calendar

-LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsamacallit soundtrack

Pretty much, for me this Christmas didn't really feel like one. It could've been because we are in someone else's house for the week, the weather or the overal atmosphere coming from everyone in the room. Hell, I could've just skipped Christmas until I came upon a day which FELT like it.

All I can say is that everyone is lucky to be getting something at least Lego related.

Not unless it doesn't even work and the infomaniac attacks you with his invisible infotower and two flowers standing in blue void.

The green-a-red bricks didn't even kick me out of the game. Thanks a lot for your flawed game escape infomaniac. :|

My Christmas isn't over yet, we're having more family over tomorrow. But what I got so far:

A Pokemon Phantom Forces booster coin combo

All 3 Pokemon World Championship 2014 Decks

3 Minecraft guide books (for advanced creations and redstone)

How to Train Your Dragon 2 soundtrack

Mega Bloks Halo UNSC Rockethog vs Anti Aircraft Gun set

A safety kit for my car

Some candies

And the last thing I got that I plan to give you all a nice demonstration of soon,

My new Casio Privia PX-150 full size 88 key Electric Piano

cas-px150_1.jpg

My parents really suprised me with this one. They told me it was a workbench for my brother. I was so happy to see this. My dad and I saw this in a shop several months ago, but it was too expensive. My mom said the look on my face was priceless. :)

As for what I gave, to my mom was a large stuffed tiger that she saw in the store, that she fell in love with. For my dad, A multi tool hammer (he loves multi tools) and for my brother, I got him Minecraft for his computer. I'm gonna go over there and help him set up his account sometime today and we'll LAN play a world together.

This was a special Christmas for me, especially for the Piano. Thanks Mom and Dad! :)

Also, thanks to all of you guys as well. :)

I've got:

  • Two pajamas (I didn't ask for them)
  • A LR2-Rocket-Racer-colored sweatshirt (I didn't ask for it)
  • Lots of Lindt chocolates (I didn't ask for them)
  • A D&D dice set? (I don't play D&D)
  • Our grandparents' TV, they replaced it with a newer model so we took it and put it in place of our second TV, which is at least 20 years old now. Not really a gift, but whatever.

So yeah. I didn't ask anything for this year, still I've got consumables, clothing and regular solids.

You know i never played that game but the concepts sound cool. For the first popular RPG, its actually pretty interesting.

LR2-Rocket-Racer-colored sweatshirt

Great, now you can sweat all over his uniform and make him mad. Well played sir.

Did everyone get a grandparents gift that was Furniture? I got a recliner because it was taking up space in my parents house.
