Screen boundaries aren't right

OK I've been having trouble running Rock Raiders on Windows 7.

When the game runs in fullscreen, part of the game window goes outside of the screen boundaries like in the screenshot below.

I've tried running the game in compatibility mode for Windows XP service packs 2 and 3 (the game will not launch if it is run for Windows 95/98), checking the boxes to disable desktop composition & visual themes, as well as the box to launch the game in 640x480 resolution. I've also tried to change the monitor graphics down to High Color (16bit) as described in the thread for windowed mode, but that has no effect on the screen boundaries either.

System Specs:

OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

System Model: XPS 8700

Processor: Intel Core i5-4440 quad-cpu @ 3.10GHz

DirectX version: 11

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 635

Monitor: Dell SE198WFP(Analog)

@mumboking Thanks for the link. I downloaded the drivers; however, this did not solve the issue.

@yCerm Cafeteria has not been helpful, and in fact has caused some more issues. I have tried to run the game in fullscreen at the monitor's resolution (1440 x 900) and this ended up happening:

I have tried to run the game in its native 640x480 resolution (fullscreen) through Cafeteria and I just end up with the same result I've been getting before.

EDIT: OK so while the game was running I fiddled around with some of the buttons on the monitor. The screen re-adjusted itself and finally got the game back within the screen resolution (which it didn't do before when I tried to screen-adjust). The problem with the screen sizes in Cafeteria, however, still remain.

Ah yes, the topic outlines this. Cafeteria isn't 100% complete, it's a WIP. The fact that it is showing like that in the picture actually means Cafeteria is working. The reason it's displayed like that is because I haven't re-done and re-aligned all the game menus/popups yet. All that extra area that ghosts only displays on the menu, but it menu is fully functional at the top right as you can see. When in-game, the whole window is used as you would expect.

So all in-all, Cafeteria is working as intended. The known issues are outlined in the topic, the campaign levels are fully playable with Cafeteria if you forgive the fact not all the menus have been re-worked yet.
