I've wanted to do this for a long time now, but it's only five years after the movie's release (and a few before the sequels) that I've had a go.

I... I dunno. I'm not really happy with it. A Na'vi averages 10ft tall, so should be just less than twice the height of a human. Can anyone please help me improve upon the model?

Note: There shouldn't be any gap between the 1x2 jumper and the body, LDD just won't let me put the technic pieces all the way in.

The Na'vi looks very blue... devoid of any other colour. Try green?

The "face" doesn't look like one, frankly.

Other than that, it looks quite good. I'd consider putting some form of plate on the torso so you can have PRETTY COLOURS l405G.jpg.

The feet are quite good, but you might want to make some form of hand for the arms.

I agree about the face. It needs to be more... facelike.

I'll second that.

It also lacks the white markings the Navi had in the movies.

The only way those could be added is by stickers. so I'm not too fussed about those.

Ah, I should have said, I was more looking for help in the main construction than with the decoration. As aidenpons suggested I'd be using stickers most likely for those details (including facial features, not sure if that would look okay though).

I'll add some hands to him (a clip should do fine). How could I make the face more 'facelike'?

First suggestion: forget about knees and elbows. Minifigures generally don't have them, so that's not a big deal, and trying to add them will only bulk up the model.

I don't know, I think they fit at this scale.

Maybe, but isn't the goal to make it smaller? Besides, it's easier to add more detail when not worrying about keeping it articulate.

I thought the scale was right but his goal was to make it look better.

I think the arms and legs are about perfect, the main problem for me is the head, which recalls to mind IG88 from Star Wars or possibly the Geth.

Replace the flat faceplate with a stud and see what I mean.
