No, the raider didn't have CrossWater TRUE. In any case, he'd have been walking on the water rather than in it.

Also, I hadn't mucked around with the Path.map.

But I know exactly how to replicate it... once again, a :wffl: is up as your prize for guessing it, but the same EULA applies to the one which I gave to le717. l405G.jpg (Speaking of that, I'll be updating my avatar soon...ish. l405G.jpg Don't worry, it'll be sooner than Ayliffe's blog post. l405G.jpg)

Did you place a wall on water?

We know that when raiders walk in water it's like they are walking on rubble, but I've never seen them dig it.

A real case of cavern flooding? :o

No.

All I did was blow up a dock using either F, A, or an OP Mining Laser.

... and then the raider, of his own accord, wandered into the water and began shovelling. I didn't tell him to...

Is the water actually gone after the raider finishes shoveling, or does it remain there?

Water? Stays. Rubble? Goes.

I've yet to see a Loader Dozer try to shovel water, but I think I might get a "LEGORR.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING" l405G.jpg

Try it anyway, for posterity's sake.

I just thought I'd say that I've tried, and unless I allow the Loader Dozer to cross water I can't get him to shovel it. I think this might be because RR's can take shortcuts over lava and I've also seen them take shortcuts across water (more of a wade-cut), so possibly if I allow Loader Dozers to take the same drunk route that the Small Digger does...

EDIT: No luck. I can't even get a RR to shovel it...

I think I know why the Raider was shoveling water.  When you build the Docks, did you notice it has a square highlighted in the water before you click to start building?  If the Raider is shoveling directly in front of where the Docks was, this I think would mean that it is counting that as part of the building and thus leaves debris behind when it is destroyed.  Hence the rubble needing to be cleared.
