legonat Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 I'm attempting to switch the files around in LI2, and I believe almost all of the buildings are divided into four or five files, LOD1, LOD2, LOD3, LOD4, and usually LOD5, however, I'm seeing almost nothing in that format on castle island. I was hoping to place a lions castle on lego island and don't see how it would work. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks for commenting! lol username Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 LOD just stands for Level of Detail. As a model gets further away it's swapped out with a lower detail version. If you want to replace a model with several LODs with a model with only one, then you should be able to just replace all of the LODs with the new model, copied and renamed as many times as needed.
