Well we're apparently getting a Live Action web series that actually follows the storyline of Dragonball/Dragonball Z from a group called RobotUnderdog. He's Gohan. Yep this episode is following Trunks's timeline. Goku is already dead in this world line of the series, but Trunks travels back to alter his time, which creates another world line where Goku (and everyone else) is still alive.
