Shadowblaze
Really the most important features of this game. 1) I am in exploration mode in Mars, and while wandering around I saw this thing under the lava. It is one of those things that appear in races to make you not loose track of... the track. Yes. 2) I was racing against Workman Fred, and I noticed that there's a podium under the floor. I know that in every world, during races there's a podium under the floor, and when the races ends it magically teleports above ground. But in Sandy bay there are no podium scenes. So, yeah, this makes absolutely no sense. Maybe they left it there before defining the storyline, or maybe they planned to use it in Arcade mode. 3) More submerged race thingies, still in exploration mode, in Dino Island. This time there's a difference, though: there are more than one of these objects, and they follow the river. This is very strange. Fluffy Cupcake
The submerged curbs ("things that make you not lose the track") aren't an accident, they were intentionally put there. Think for a moment what all locations of found bricks have in common. Answer: If you said liquids, you are correct! You will also find some near constuction site waterfall, and the beaches on Sandy Bay. What is the explaination of this you may ask? One word. Sounds. Sfx needs to be welded to an object to work in the game. Why they did it this way and required it to be binded to an object and instead used random models instead of an invisible model is beyond me though. I only know so much. The SB podium was probably put there as a precaution in case it was needed in that world at any time, because as you said, all other worlds do use it. Oboe Shoes
The fact that they don't have a dedicated sound emitter object is honestly rather strange...
Fluffy Cupcake
The fact that they don't have a dedicated sound emitter object is honestly rather strange... And the odder thing is they do but they don't use it. The model is called SOUND_DUMMY which is just a flat red sqaure with no collision, and they could have easily made it invisible by applying a transparent texture.
