Can someone send me some sources I need for LEGO Racers 2?

So, I sort-of successfully installed LEGO Racers 2 on my Windows 7 ASUS Laptop (the game crashes when trying to exit thru the main  menu, and, changing the quality will crash it)

So, the game is fine for me and all but... I don't think all the movies and music installed successfully.

Here is a screenie of what folders I need in the directories: '>

I need someone to send me ALL that data except for the "Saved games" folder, because, I like the music and movies.

Thanks!

First off, welcome to RRU! :)

Ah, so you're simply wanting the music and movies (The Saved Games folder is empty and unused, BTW). I might be able to do that, but first let's deduce some things. ;)

How many files are in each folder? Music should have 28 files and Movies 7 files. What gave you the impression they did not install properly?

OKAY, so, I have ALL the movies files. But, I only have 12 music files, and, if you could can you please send me the music folder so I can replace it with all the music?

And, it didn't install correctly because at around 82% of installing it threw an error. Thanks for your help! :D

The most Racers 2 installation error reports (after the whole 2GB RAM limit but is blamed on Windows 7) seem to be related to the movies/music. I wonder why. :?:

I'll get the music uploaded ASAP and sent it to you in a private message. ;)

EDIT: My my, a 7z of the music is 70MB. This might take a bit. If. I can't get them to you tonight, I'll do it first thing tomorrow. ;)

Since you're talking about this, I wanna say something about an issue in my LR2 installation: I haven't got the movie files, and I have no idea why. Can you send them to me?

Did you set the game to install with them? If I recall correctly, you have the 'Typical' and 'Full' options, or something similar. Many LEGO Media games do anyway, and you have to select 'Full' to get the movies.

I have no idea, I installed the game a lot of years ago and I moved it to my actual computer using an USB device. :P

In which case, seeing as your saves won't be removed (they are stored in your documents folder as le717 said above), try uninstalling and reinstalling it with different settings. Obviously if you're worried about losing any data, you can back it up first.

I don't have the disc. I guess my version is pirated, which is kinda sad. Anyway as a kid while going around stores I've never seen the game, which probably means that they never sold LR2 in my country. :(

Well, it's not that expensive, if you ignore postage I'm sure you can pick it up on Bricklink or eBay quite cheap. I got mine from a local seller on eBay for £2 I think it was. Then you can have your movies :)

But you're not really missing out on much, anyway. All the dialogue's programmed into the game, all you're missing are the intros to the various worlds along with the Xalax portal warp and the intro movie. They aren't very exciting except for the game intro, which you can likely find on YouTube.

Not that I'm condoning the use of an illegal copy, I would recommend you find yourself a copy if you can, it's definitely worth it.
