Must have been done before, but I just found out that LOCO works with the new microsoft remote desktop app due to its glorious lack of a third dimension. And it runs wonderfully.

So that's pretty awesome.

I once played Half-life, on a tablet, with a WIImote via splashtop. It is pretty easy to do and i love streaming my PC to a tablet or other device so i can sit on the couch and play my PC games.

Now we just need Rock Raiders running on it...nice find though, I wish my comp was old enough to run Loco :P

Well this was on windows 8.1 so it doesn't get much more modern than that :P Even installed it with my ipad with no trouble.

This is awesome! I need to try this. I remember playing Loco for hours.

RU is currently very portable. Teemo currently has it running on is [insert tablet device here]. With the appropriate licenses, I could easily port it to iOS. By the way, RU is on track to be [mostly] finished by the end of the semester.

Rock Raiders does seem quite suited to tablets. I guess it's probably possible with PC streaming apps or whatever. The PS1 version could easily be played on an ipad via remote desktop but I'm not sure it'd work as well.

Rock Raiders is actually perfectly suited for tablet controls. The interface itself would have to be revamped, but overall it would feel very natural.

Hold your horses, I mentioned this once and I don't think anyone went with it.

You suggested porting/remaking the game to run on the iPad, whereas Ace suggested using the Remote Desktop App thing blah blah Windows 8 blah to run the original PC Game on it... for... some reason...

Or, we could just not acknowledge tablets at all and live happy knowing that we're not ruining computing.

Still, a cool find, I guess.

Nice to see a classic lego game on a tablet!

I own a windows 8.1 tablet , and I just tried LOCO on it. It works very well with touch controls. :)
