If anybody deserved it, he would be the one, he was the only person who stayed around from LI for crying out loud. It probably wouldn't have been very had to add 1 more NPC to the cave. As far as I know (from Emails from Wes), everyone on the dev team for LI1 got FIRED the day before release. Wes was the only one allowed on once LEGO Media was formed.
