Cirevam
METAL GEAR?! This is very neat, and it's a much better take on the walking drill mech compared to the Granite Grinder. The greebles are nice, but it looks like the drill arm might not be that strong. Does the model hold up well? We can't have the drill falling off during our mining ops. Lair
It's very detailed and well-built, and certainly looks better than the Granite Grinder, yes. I am a little concerned about how front-heavy it looks, though, is it a little unbalanced or does it work pretty well in actuality? lol username
As I said in the original blog comments, I love this. Steampunk is awesome, and I love seeing LEGO MOCs in the genre. I typically like to build smooth, streamlined stuff, but this has reminded me that making it intentionally rough and greebled can look really darn good too. Do you have any broader pictures of the side and back? BobaFett2

The drill arm holds together well. Never played Metal Gear, unfortunately. I've heard that they're fantastic (I like watching Caddicarus even if 95% of the games are ones I'll never play). They look fantastic, at that. It's very detailed and well-built, and certainly looks better than the Granite Grinder, yes. lol username
What specific areas do you want a picture of?Just some broader pictures showing the entire thing from various angles (the sides and back, mainly).
BobaFett2
I'll take some more pictures when I update the feet. I have a grey mining vehicle somewhat based off the chrome crusher coming up, I'll probably take their pictures at the same time.
Addictgamer
Holy moly, I want that for my granite grinder. The only criticism I can offer is actually a request for a broader (that is, farther off) view of the entire thing from various angles so that I can see it better.
