dreamkaster97
Hi everyone, I'm a bit stuck on something. When upon running LEGO Island, the mouse doesn't work properly. I'm not able to click on things like poeple, plants, or buildings. I am, however, able to click on things like the arrows or the exit door in the Information Center. Can someone help me? Thanks! :-)
Lair
Find the program "To Configure LEGO Island." It's in the start menu, same place as the LEGO Island shortcut. What is it set on? You probably want to change it to any of the other three options there. lol username
The Ace Railgun
Also have you tried re-installing? That usually works 98% of the time. So if what Lair said doesn't work then try that.
dreamkaster97
What is what set on exactly Lair? In the configuration program, the game is set at 'High' island model qualtiy, 'High' island texture quality, 'High Color' color palette, 'Direct3D HAL' (the graphics actually display correctly on that setting. :-) ), and '3D Sound'. And yes, I've re-installed many times with no success to my problem. :-
mumboking
Try changing Direct3D HAL to RAMP Emulation. aidenpons
dreamkaster97
Yep, that did the trick. It also solved the glitchy exiting problem. Thanks! :-)

So if what Lair said doesn't work then try that. This is a a simple but common problem with LI1 that's directly tied to the graphics mode, I can guarantee you that re-installing the game will never fix it as it's entirely unrelated to that (as you can see by the other replies here). Also, welcome to RRU, dreamkaster97.
