This is LDraw, right? Try not to use LDraw; it is a wadful of polygons. I used it (my helmets are from LDraw, but editted), but I moved on, because it was just a lot of polygons not to mention the constant nagging I got for it.

If you want, you could do, say, load this object into a background layer, and try to create the shape with the basic shapes, connecting points, editting...etc. This may take a bit of time, but you can make it use a much smaller amount of polygons, and the product is much more fulfilling.

Although it needs smoothing, I think this is very nice in-game.

This is lightwave 10? I never use LWDraw......

And it already got smoothing i did not unweld serten objects.

Btw, some hard parts i made manually like the blue steering wheel....

I do apologize then. It looks rather similar to LDraw, and it is polygon heavy, so I assumed.

It won't happen again. I apologize for sounding like a know-it-all and being a jerk.

You're not being a jerk for warning him about the nagging he might get from other people because of an overly high-poly model. By the looks of it, I expect it to have a high poly count because of the round shapes on it (the handles, lights, and studs would probably make the majority of the polies).

Looks really good Karsten. Have you made the upgrade parts for it? (I never used the hover scout, but I assume it has engine/scanner upgrades)

Edit: If the original model didn't have upgrades, you could make some for it. ;)

Looks pretty good, though it keeps bugging me that the rounded base doesn't look quite round, but more like a square with heavily rounded edges.

Well, I always try to stick to six-sided shapes. The surface smoothing makes it look round, while the polygon count doesn't get too high.

Could someone re-upload all of the vehicle models? All links for the vehicle models uploaded by "karsten" are now broken.

I like the model in a 2d HP vehicle mod and it looks like the real thing  with it  smoothed  and cleaned. ( but I don't do modding)  I do enjoy riding the hover scout. ( even though I didn't got a chance to ride one)
