Aki Dazrold Posted December 4, 2010 Share Posted December 4, 2010 The lava doesn't erode the area right next to the water. There is also land over there that is flat enough to build on. Whichever method you use (ferry with boats or move base across lake) to get the needed crystals is up to you, but you can avoid a lot of pain by just building up on the water's edge where the lava can't has u.
