Issues with Cafetaria 0.9.3 and 0.7

1. The lastest version of Cafetaria (0.9.3) gives an error when I try to run it: 'insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service'. Normally this indicates a memory leak or a problem with .NET (or so I heard), but I have over 4 GB of free memory and I updated my .NET to be certain.

UPDATE: this turned out to be an issue with my antivirus (Avira), which had moved this version of Cafetaria to quarantine. It still doesn't work on higher resolutions than 640x480 though, same problem as with version 0.7.

2. Version 0.7 of Cafetaria works on resolution 640x480, but when I try any other resolution (like 1080x1920, 1280x960, 800x600), it crashes upon reaching the main menu.

I have tried administrator mode and compatibility modes. Anything else I can try?

If it's crashing just before the menu it means that patches aren't getting applied.

Did you exact all the resolution packs with it maintaining the folder structure?

Is there a resolution pack for your selected resolution?

Are you using it on a fresh install?

Are the WAD files in the Cafeteria folder?

Have you tried turning off "Attempt to skip Mode Select"?

Can you make sure on the Mode Select window that there is only 1 entry and that it is selected before pressing ok.

The loading bar is in the upper-left corner, so it looks like something is being applied.

I tried turning off 'Attempt to skip Mode Select', and I had to manually click OK on the mode selection screen. There were two options for the 'Device' and one option for the Resolution (1920x1080). Neither option for the 'Device' works.

Yes, that means the resolution is working, but for some reason the resolution pack is not being applied. "Apply Mods" is turned on right? It's running as Administrator? When you click launch it should be generating a LegoRR0.wad file (note it should be the only WAD file in that directory). Using the stuff in the Tools tab you should be able to extract that WAD and check if Lego.CFG has been updated with the higher resolution properties to confirm if it's being applied.

Mode Select is working as intended for you.

Administrator mode and Apply mods are on. The WAD appears to be updated correctly; in Lego.cfg most instances of 640x480 have been replaced by 1920x1080. The four instances where 640 and 480 appear are probably intentional.

Edit: I am not sure why, but creating a new clean directory fixed it. Apparently there was something interfering.
