Not trying to be negative, but every time I see a relationship announcement... they usually break up a few months later. If I had to slap a percentage on the chances of a teenage relationship lasting into their 20's i'd give it a 10% chance.

dude, quit being a scrooge. honestly i agree with you... BUT, looking back at all my relationships, the ones that i even sort of regret, its never a loss, you always learn, and you always get more out of it than you started with, be that knowlege and understanding, or memories, or something other. and "Not trying to be negative" WTF! really, kinda like saying, " not trying to brown nose you or anything, but sir, that was an outstanding decisioun to..." you get the point.

I never said love is not great. Back when RRU had status updates, you would have seen that about every week there would be some sort of relationship announcement/failure. Same at work, all you ever hear about is who is with who, who is cheating with who... and frankly I am sick of listening to it. With maturity, a relationship can be great... without it, they don't really last. Problem with a lot of people today is they don't like committing to someone (exception to you as you are married)... they want to be with someone, but want to live like they are still single...

I really don't care if people disagree with my old school view of relationships.

This. Just... THIS. It's part of the reason why Cy killed status updates. There was about 10% of the active members saying "I'M LEAVING BYE!", There was me saying random crap for attention, and there was Zeph saying overly personal things. Everyone else was alright, as far as I could tell.

As for relationships... Zeph, I seriously hope that this one will last.
