Everything about this to me is just "wat"

I don't understand why everyone says "Oh, I can express my opinions, I can be myself!" when in reality RRU doesn't let me do this at all.

I'm constantly having to bottle up my opinions and thoughts, to the point where bottling them up just tear me apart and make me a bad person. I'm constantly being micromanaged by you know who every time I do anything, and I'm beaten on if I disagree with anyone's opinions.

Literally, other than Ben, Wog, Lind, Quis and Carcraze, you're one of the only people who aren't after me, forcing me to swallow my opinions, so that everyone else can run around and be happy.

Moderators or just intelligent people in general aren't usually on, so I'm always caught in some stupid childish argument. I wish someone could either, I don't know, handle things correctly and maturely, and not beat me down with the opposite opinion, and make everything worse?

Heck, even Wog has reacted to what I've done with the typical, usual "..." annoyed silence that ace used to use frequently. The only time I can actually express myself is when I'm near the people mentioned above.

The only time I actually felt great on RRU was for five minutes until RRU had to be, as usual, the cyclejerk of cyber bullying where you tear up a newbie for two small errors, and then this and this happened, and nothing was ever the same again.

Honestly I find it stupid how people on here always say "Oh, you improved since you first joined!" when there wasn't anything really wrong to begin with, just a confused post and I spelled "Surprising" without the first R. You people explode for no reason like the blacktron guy who sank my spessship.

Apart from my terrible experience, I'm glad you're enjoying your time here on RRU.

Huh, I think you're over reacting a bit, and there's some kind of misunderstanding, as of lately I've done nothing but try to have pleasant conversations with you, but you almost always explode about something or declare that it's an argument and either leave or ignore me, and when I try to tell you to chill and take a breather you call that "micromanaging" when all I'm trying to do is give a friendly suggestion. The only time I can think of that suggested something that wasn't chill was when you and Nog where sitting afk in the chat box with the 5 person limit where I politely asked you to not both be afk in order to free up space, in which you again declared to be an argument, and left, when it was a discussion, and to use a tongue when you joke (which honestly does help, but I sometimes miss that it's a joke still) (correct me if I'm wrong) While you and I have had disagreements in the past, I Think we can eventually look past that and become able to have normal conversations again. The last three CONVERSATIONS we had together we're quite pleasant until you declared them to be an argument and left to ignore me.

 

I mean really for the most part I've had nothing but good intentions when I've tried to converse with you and if you think there's something that needs to be discussed between the two of us please PM me. This poor attempt at "shaming" or "attacking" me for something that could be a misunderstanding is just going to make you look more immature at this point.

@SM64 Machinimas; Why does the YouTube channel SMG4 (for short) come to mind...? I haven't seen much of the channel but the topic you discussed is hot on it, with the guy who makes the videos being an older guy, and sometimes (like once) I hear the channel referenced in Steam comments.

 

 

It's funny because half of those friends came from playing Terraria. It's amazing what gaming can do.

 

I'm glad to see you are enjoying RRU, I have been to, and in a way my experiences and reasons were similar to yours. I'm not 22, by any means but I'm almost out of high school so, that counts, right?  Anyways, see ya around and thanks for the very interesting and nice read.

Not one of the conversations you've brought up were pleasant in any way, shape, or form and just either annoy me or provoke me. The situation is a mess of miscommunication, and you're apparently unable to see everything from my point of view: Everything is stressful and chaotic.

The reason I blow up at some of you is because what you say is completely different from my point of view. This form is miscommunication is labelled as "mael acting immature" which is absolutely ridiculous.

If you say something, it will look completely different to me and as if you're provoking me. Your passive-aggressive reactions are extremely provoking. "oh look xxx member left you must've pissed him off" does not help and just provokes me.

After all the passive-aggressive or just provoking things you've said to me, lots of things you say in general provoke me. At times you have so many opinions that are the complete opposite of mine that I think you're just insulting/provoking me in another way that trolls mostly do.

I've decided that the best thing for me to do is ignore you like you tell everyone to ignore JHUYSER. At least that way, I'll be able to avoid a lot of arguments.

I think my problem is just that all the things I found offensive have lead up to the point where I cannot have a pleasant conversation with you because every time I talk to you you remind me of all the unpleasant, horrible times I've had that were related to you, and I throw out a spiteful comment.

Everyone tells me "You guys just need to clear up everything and become friends" but my problem is that I cannot be your friend. I feel the best thing for us to do is ignore eachother, and move on, but that's just what I think.

Well if you can't put it behind you then yeah, that's a problem. But I've seen you bully more members than other members bully you. I personally think you aren't ready for RRU but that's just me. Also I've tried to make up with you but you've done nothing to amend things between us. But I guess if it has come to this I'll just ignore you too.

Was that really necessary? Mael was just joking, not casting aspersions on the general nature of RRU. If you don't like the humorous characterization of RRU as crazy, that's fine, but I don't see the need to chastise him like he's insulted the site. And it's not as if anyone got on Lair's case when he posted this, recently:

On Mael, (I can't be bothered quoting ), while he does get into arguments, I say he's mature enough for the Lego section of RRU. We really like your contributions and your MOCs, it's just the flame is unwelcome.
