There's some great satisfaction that I get out of hating Sonic and Sonic games. The ugly game design philosophies that go into the blue rat, the fact that the entire franchise seems designed to cater to the high-functioning autistic, a side of myself that I absolutely despise.

​Sonic is certainly no hedgehog. He's not even a rat. He's more like some mutant ape with an anime hair cut.

As for the game-play itself, I've played the first one on an arcade emulator, and I found the game play decent but hardly good enough to spawn a whole franchise.
