Just a little quick sketch I whipped up to promote a project I'm working on.

ARE YOU NOT INTRIGUED?

I don't see why you would be. There's nothing about this image to suggest anything intriguing. But I guess that couldn't be helped.

Oh sure, I COULD have posted something more informative but where's the fun in that?

Also: Sorry I've been slacking, Nog! I'll get back to work I promise!

I am not intrigued! I mean, I am intrigued. Or something. :P

Intrigue is due to not knowing everything that's going to come out of the Project before it happens.

I promise it'll be great :P

hTz2vbv.jpg But seriously, it looks like some sorta crossover; the character on the right is a style different to the one on the left which is easily recognisable as your own drawing... ...just a speculation...

The poor girl appears to possess two left hands. Gritty post-atomic-war thriller perhaps? I always liked mutant protagonists. :)

But you can't see her hands. Or do you mean the sailor-dude on the left? His left hand is a bit ambiguous looking, spacially, but it's clearly not supposed to be a right hand.

knit cap... sailor hat

The two aren't mutually exclusive.

The fact that knit caps are associated with sailors, combined with the sweater and with her masculine-looking (to me) face (due, I think, to the proportions of the jaw and eyebrows) gave me that impression. She looks more feminine in the second picture.

I'd never heard this before. I don't normally associate warm clothing with sailors, just people who live in cold places. So... yeah

I agree she looks a bit too androgynous in the first picture though, and the hand's a bit sloppy. It was a quick sketch I did as practice after having not worked on the project for a while... probably should have posted an older, but better drawn image instead.
