Most of you already know this but, LEGO Universe private servers...

Only downside for me is, I don't have any of the client files so I can't test it...

Well, you guys can have fun...

EDIT: If any of you guys know if the files are on the disc, please tell me.

Private servers? Does this have something to do with LUNI Server?

And no, as far as I know, the disc only contains the patcher.

I'm sorry.

What?!

I knew that there was one private server in existence which worked, but it was limited access(via Nighwing on LMBW wiki). Has someone else figured it out?

If you can call a program a server when it's just playing back old captured packets like a tape player playing a tape, with said packets only being good for character creation... Then perhaps.

And no, there have been no LU private servers so far. Just people trying to trick others into thinking they've somehow made them. We're missing a massive chunk of server-side database stuff, for things like loot drop rates and vendor prices, plus all the systems for managing user-generated content (properties). Anybody who wants to create a proper server has an absolutely massive amount of guesswork cut out for them.

As I suspected. I imagine that it might be simpler to decode the client-side assets, create custom replacements for the server-side assets, and make a program that reads all of these. Such a task is still quite challenging, but it actually seems more feasible.
