Main Menu - What do you want to see in it?

So, I decided to take a break from modeling, and begin to make a raw mockup of how the main menu would look.

I still need something else for the button on the right bar. It can be up to two things as the exit button can go elsewhere.

Would recommend changing the text color.  White might do the trick.  Very hard to read the sharp font in that color against black background.

Thanks. I'll try with white, or maybe even light grey.

What's the background from? If you made that part, great job.

You should arrange the buttons in a hexagonal shape with a button at the center, then color them like Toa (but somewhat transparent).

Woah, much better.  Looks like a late-90s, early 2000s Star Wars Episode I or II game haha.

It's from the movie. Sorry to disapoint you. I will however, change it to an animation. (when the 3D model of the city is finished)

I'll see what I can do.

Why not have a 'help' button or something? Assuming you're having instructions somewhere, just move them out onto the main menu.

Contradicting what I just said, It's good, I think it just has too many options. Removing/moving 'Exit' and perhaps removing 'Credits' and sticking it inside the 'Extras' sub-menu would work better.

I was actually considering creating a game manual PDF, but I'll be sure to put it somewhere in the main menu options. (maybe under extras, too)

Hm, true. I'll move some stuff around.

You might want to fade the ''buttons'' in the menu, it might make it look a bit better than having solid buttons.

I'll add my input even though I'm a few days late if that's OK.

Maybe its just me, but because I am used to reading left to right then down it would make more sense to me to have it laid out as-

(PLAY GAME)            (LOAD GAME)

(MULTIPLAYER)        (SETTINGS)

(EXTRAS)                   (CREDITS)

(               )                  (EXIT)

instead of

(PLAY GAME)            (EXTRAS)

(LOAD GAME)           (CREDITS)

(MULTIPLAYER)        (              )

(SETTINGS)               (EXIT)

Also, if you put the exit button at the bottom right (or left or center) and the copyrights at the bottom left (or right) you could still have it fairly symmetrical without needing an eighth button.

I originally thought of eight buttons to make it symmetical only, but since I'll have less buttons now, I will probably lay out the buttons in a way they look like tabs in a browser. Maybe a drop-down menu upon hovering?
