VA Tryouts: Important Update

Dear All,

I am in need of 3 people to do voice acting for a certain something of mine. Anyone willing to tryout must let me know in a PM. This is a serious project, and if you tryout I will tell you more. All I can say is that it is for a game I am in the process of creating. I already have 1 person helping with voice acting, and I have 3 spots left.

Important information:

Members with a Skype account are preferred. I will work with those on Skype 1st.

Email is not preferred, however if that is your only means of contact, then I'll make it work.

Downside is that I will respond to emails after Skype ONLY if I don't have enough people.

You will be given a script and a character to act as.

So if you want to tryout, send me a PM with either your Skype name or email. If I already know you on Skype, let me know if you'd like to tryout down below.

UPDATE:

I am almost done getting things set up, and will be ready to start soon. I have folders for each of the members containing the script and specific recording instructions. Each member will have to sign an NDA in order to participate. Once I am ready, I will start with Joe9412, as he was 1st to apply.

If anyone else would like to tryout, please let me know below or in a PM.

I would like to try. Since Tahmira's project seems to be postponed indefinitely, it would be nice to have another VA role.

What kind of VAs are you needing, character wise? I have a simi-wide range of character voices, some better than others.

What ever you got, I want to hear it. It will take a little while for me to do this as I have to listen to all of you, so patience is key right now.

I WOULD try out, but two things: 1) I've got a *real* job now, and school's coming up; and 2) I've volunteered my work many times, and other than the QCs, I have nothing to show for it.

 

So I'm afraid I'll sit this one out. Sorry.

Well, actually, there aren't really characters, more like a "genre" so to speak, and I base my voice on the requirement. Have you listed to the Legos in Space Fanfic audio book? That has my "little child" voice, I also did the the voice in a major (9.45 minutes!) stop-motion for rioforce.

So really, it's more of a "what do you need" then a "this is what I can do" thing for me.

Oh, I also do evil voices. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well, actually, there aren't really characters, more like a "genre" so to speak, and I base my voice on the requirement. Have you listed to the Legos in Space Fanfic audio book? That has my "little child" voice, I also did the the voice in a major (9.45 minutes!) stop-motion for rioforce.

That's fine. I'm free today and about 1/4th tomorrow, and I usually don't VA while others are home, but I'll attempt to do it if you want me to. Also the stop-motion part was more "serious", I'll send it to you to watch if you wish. ;)

Also I fell I should state that using the internet and using my microphone are, for me, mutually exclusive (since I'm almost only ever able to use the internet at school or the library, where it's inadvisable to be making a lot of noise), so I'll need to connect to the internet to get my lines, do the recording at home, and then upload the result next time I have access. So there's a minor inconvenience but nothing I can't work around.
