Before you start shouting "GET BATTLEFIELD" or "GET SKYRIM", take a look at the games I already have and what's in my wishlist. http://steamcommunity.com/id/40KEndgame/games?tab=all http://steamcommunity.com/id/40KEndgame/wishlist/
Based on what you see in my collection and in my wishlist, what can you recommend to me? If you need more information, I'm into shoot-em-ups (vertical scroll, horizontal scroll or 3D into-the-screen), Racing (competitive arcade and simulation), Strategy (turn bas
Well, I was working on a radio control AGR (Anti Gravity Racer - the term is a misnomer since it's actually just a technologically advanced conventional hovercraft) and left the project alone for a while, only to find out that everything is missing. I put a lot of time, effort and money in to that thing only to find that it was for nothing.
Was it really for nothing, though? I did learn a lot about the process of developing such a vehicle...
Also, although the vehicle itself is missing

Alright... I'll keep it short.
Motherboard fried.
Had person come in to replace motherboard as I had a trip to Chicago coming up.
Computer came back five days late - HDD was wiped with excuse that "everything was corrupted"
Finds out that some data was saved. Suspects treachery.
Is preparing lawsuit against technician.
'Nuff Said.
Oh, also I failed in the Golden Demon painting contest.

Alright. While chatting I got into a little "argument" with the member who is currently know as Rainbow Dash (I can't wait until that fad blows over, it's driving me insane!) about Google.
To basically state my position, it's not that I don't like Google's software, but I can't respect a company that can influence the world economy like that.
As for Apple, they steal software and digital media. OSX 10.x is a re-skin of FreeBSD 4.2, a now outdated OS based on Unix, and lot of songs on
There's a thread on SPUF about the placebo effect in TF2. I decided that this topic is interesting, so I'd like to share some of my experiences with you. You can join in and add some of your own experiences in the comments.
My experiences:
General:
Random Crits are cheap: 70% of the times I died, even if I would have died anyway, it's to a random crit.
Sentry Annoyance: Whenever I tell my team that there's a sentry ahead, they run in and get themselves killed.

Yet Another Sprite Comic
No. : Reploid PhoenyX and Mavrick PhoenyX
Yeah, it's another "uncreative" Megaman themed sprite comic. It's unrelated to RRU or Operation: Ready to Le, and really serves no purpose than to test out something I'm wanting to try making.

Any thoughts?
I've noticed that there hasn't been a post or blog entry yet on how to get the idiots in orange to do what you want them to. I've decided that it's better late than never.
Sorted in order of usefulness.
It's faster and more reliable to click on a rock raider and tell them to get into a vehicle than to click on a vehicle and select "Get Driver". Sometimes doing the latter will cause the game to select a rock raider that is currently busy. Some times this causes the raider to ignore
I never intended to be away, but things happen and I ended up moving on for a while.
My computer went down a long while ago (it's been fixed for a while now), and when I fixed it I had learned about a game called Garry's Mod. Yes, Garry's Mod. The glitchiest game in existence. Combine that with Team Fortress 2 (an awesome FPS/Military themed hat collecting sim, depending on your view) and Trackmania United Forever, I guess I just couldn't get back on for a while.
Disaster struck on J
Well, first off, I'm getting a major case of Deja Vu here. When Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver were released, a Team Rocket Takeover was staged on Bulbagarden.
My allegiances are where the similarities end. On Bulbagarden I sided with the resistance, here I side with the Empire.
In other news, well, it's still related but until this whole thing blows over I'm the unofficial Tie-Fighter repairman at a remote imperial outpost.
This random thought came to my head, but in Warhammer 40,000 Lasguns are S3 AP- Rapid Fire. Because of this, they are almost worthless against heavy armoured troops like Space Marines, Eldar Aspect Wariors, Dark Eldar Incubi, and Tau Battlesuits.
Space Marine Power Armour gives an armour save of 3+ (requiring a 3, 4, 5, or 6 on a six sided die), meaning that it's very strong.
Assuming that a Blaster from Star Wars is about as strong as a Lasgun, yet it can blow holes through Stormtroop
I want to like this game. But as USUAL Nintendo messes up something. White 1 had a relatively short storyline that, although philosophically deep, wasn't very engaging. Pokemon White 2 has fixed that issue, but also has probably the most stupid mistake in the game. They expect you to level grind before the first gym leader, but you'll find that to be ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE with the system in place. There are way too few trainers before you reach that area, and the wild Pokemon in the area are som
I'll make this a list...
1. Source SDK
I know, I know... source is outdated. Heck, it even annoys me because of that. I still like it because of VALVe's business ethics. Yeah, VALVe time isn't exactly the best business ethic, but they are really open to the use of their software unlike other companies. Also, you can actually edit the source code of the engine for your mod. I'm really confused as to why people downplay the Source SDK in favor of Unreal (although CryEngine I can understand
Alright. I'm sure the title is self explanatory, so I'll skip the basics and get into the details (like the deck I'm going to run).

I was building an architectural model of a random skyscraper when the program lagged out. So I saved the file and restarted LDD. The file wouldn't load and the program started lagging again. Keep in mind that I'm using a computer that is known to be able to run Crysis 2, so it's not my specs. TLG had enough time to fix the bugs.
I hereby declare LEGO Digital Designer Failware.
The reason we still use it is because there's no alternative. It's either this or not using it at all.
Alright, I might as well make a top-ten. It was going to happen eventually. These are the easiest bosses in video games I have personally seen.
First off, the rues.
1. With only one or two exceptions (and you'll see why), they can only be from games I have played.
2. Only one boss character from each franchise.
3. RPG bosses are kept to a minimum.
Now the list:
10.
If you're wondering why RPG bosses are being kept to a minimum, it's because of Lance from Pokemon Gold, Silv
I'd hate to be saying goodbye to a forum I felt at home on, but it's what I must do. I can't take the stress.
I have a few things to say before I go.
Cyrem:
You are an inspiration for everyone, including me. You also made this great place. I'm sorry that some people had to ruin it for everyone.
Cirevam:
I wish I had gotten to know you better. Form what I do know, you were one of the best forum moderators I have ever seen, if not the best.

Well, now that I'm hosting a Minecraft server (75.136.114.99:25565) alongside my Team Fortress 2 server, I've decided to come up with a project.
I'm working on a small mining town in the center of the island where you first spawn, and I'd like to set up more on other islands. Problem is, I need to do four things first.
1. Level the terain around the city without disturbing any of the mine entrances
2. Build a road system complete with glowstone streetlights.
3. Stabilize the

Alright. I just want to comment on a few things.
First off...
What is a "Dead Unicorn Trope"
If a "Dead Horse Trope", a trope that has become so overused that parodying it has become a trope of its own, wasn't really a trope to begin with, it is considered a "Dead Unicorn Trope" instead, since it's a combination of unicorns never existing to begin with, unicorns being described as horses with single horns on their heads, and the whole "beating a dead horse" figurative saying.
I promised to leak a bit of info about one of my projects, so here goes...
ETA Carina
is a game I am working on in the source engine. It will be a Sci-Fi FPS with some RPG and RTS components and an emphasis on Shipboarding and Planetfall actions. In addition the game will be vehicle heavy, where both sides will have access to tanks (not grav-tanks, more like the Landmaster from Star Fox Assault but with a railgun instead of a laser), fighters, everything up to light transport gunships. I
First off, I apologize for not being on - and with more than just the site.
Computer problems have once again caused me to have to take down my servers. Because of this, the servers will be down for a few more days and will gradually started up over a few weeks.
UPDATE: It turns out that LDCAD is actually what I'm looking for, believe it or not.
While trying to design a 1997 UFO themed MOC, I ran into an issue. Particularly, the fact that LEGO Digital Designer is missing several parts needed for the build, such as the 14x14 quarter-saucer segments that make up the hull of the Alien Avenger and the prow of the Interstellar Starfighter. I can't even begin to understand why TLG doesn't include older bricks in LDD. I know LDD is intended for designing mode
Ok, this is more of a list of the relations between the three than a story.
40KEndgame was a semi-well known member of YouTube
His account was lost due to a server error, causing his online self to be mortally wounded.
Instead of allowing his online self to die, 40KEndgame decided to let his online persona ascend.
This new ascended being is known as Super 40KEndgame
Ascended beings are not allowed to interfere with the physical world.
In order to get around this, Super 40K
First off... I'd like to say I'm actually not as disappointed as I thought I would be. That said, I can't just summarize the review like that.
Graphics: Impressive... for the 3DS. The lighting is on par with Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, while everything else (even resolution) is equivalent to Mario Bike Kart Wii. Also, it's the first handheld Mario Kart title to not use sprites for items and track objects. Overall I'd say it's a turn in the right direction in this factor.
Sound: I've nev
