Open Rock Raiders Delta

A few weeks back, me and Ramius were discussing a bit our thoughts on open rock raiders. We didn't completely agree to addict's planned changes (for example: adding single tile thick walls), and started looking into it ourselves. Our vision is to recreate the old game, with its original gameplay structures, yet adding new features that improve the gameplay. I have made a small overview of our thoughts further down the post. We have decided to use python to program the game, mainly due to i

Apple Fails: Mac App Store Guidelines

I thought it was funny to share this in a bit more detail. I am pointing at a story over at engadget, where they reviewed the new mac app store guidelines: http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/21/apples-mac-app-store-review-guidelines-posted-will-photoshop/ Here are some comments from me: 2.1: Apps that crash will be rejected 2.2: Apps that exhibit bugs will be rejected At these occasions I really wonder if apple has heard of a "debugger" before. A few examples: Let's start with the newsletter. You give your e-mail and get "weekly updates and special offers" [yeah right]. Signing up for a news letter is probably pretty much the same as going to a supermarket, and asking if they can send you commercial folders every week. Normally you put that kind of things in your paper

I was making tosti's today, and had myself wondering whether tosti's are as unhealthy as many people look at them. I mean, if you think about it, tosti's (or sandwitches) are 2 slices of bread, with butter, cheese and ham/salami (plus perhaps some ketchup too). That is in fact not much more than what you would normally have for lunch. At least I don't think heating them up means making them more unhealthy. On the other hand, when you make tosti's you normally don't just make one, you make
