Welcome to my blog. I think a lot. Most of the thinking I do is garbage. My brain fills with garbage, leaving no room for good thoughts. So I've made this blog to dump out thoughts that have invaded my brain for far too long. Also it's one a.m. and I'm starting to question my life choices. So that's not good. As it is one a.m., my brain has decided to stop thinking. Crap. What now?
I NOW AM ON TWITTER PEEPS https://twitter.com/_Shadowblaze
You might have noticed that title looks just a tiny bit off. It's a reference to Earthbound.
Anywho! This is just a fun tune inspired by the aforementioned game, as I can't seem to find anybody who can make this kind of music. Except for the composers for MOTHER 4 and the Earthbound ones (duh).
...is good enough.
Since I'm moving off to my college residence on Friday, I will need some decoration to liven up the place, which mostly consists of some of my more notable MOCs, such as the Pants Party, the Overweight Golem, and the impending Medieval Head Separator (don't ask). Inevitably in my studies, I will face tremendous mental and psychological stress due to academic pressure and social exposure.
I have previously discussed Galidor in my graduation speech, which for
So I am currently in the process of updating my computer, and after the recent drama I figured a computer blorg would be fun. Several friends (Alcom, @noghiri, and an IRL friend) have helped me compile a computer parts list to make a long lasting and powerful computer (that can handle VR), with enough storage to last me for forever (or at least 'till I use up 3TBs) here's my final part list, if anyone wants to check it out.

Hello! It's a new music. My brother asked for it. Here it is. Yay.
"I do try to make it resemble what the music makes me think about. Namely colors and sometimes shapes" (on the Barrage blog post): Welp. That means I have some form of synesthesia. Ain't that cool.

I actually did these instead of playing video games. What's wrong with me?
Each one took roughly an hour. The second one was done first.
So, this afternoon on the Skype group I mentioned an idea for a 2D sidescrolling lego fangame that's been in my head for a while, and then I proceeded to literally just blurt out all the ideas and such I had for it for no real reason other than the fact I found it quite interesting. I can't really be bothered to reword all of my abstract thoughts into something more sensible, so here's the chat log for your enjoyment:
So, any thoughts about these ideas wot I had?
I'm going to just dump notes here whenever I feel like; they could be relevant of they could be completely garbage.
Also, I have been offered the chance to bring the Vertical Slice to a public exhibition in 5 months time, but I'll need to really step on it and start producing content.
Vertical Slice = Murder Investigation: It'd be easier to do an investigation about a character you find in pieces on the street, rather than having to deal with the complexity of making a

I've been here three years huh
Exactly one year ago I told you all how I ended up here in the first place, but this year... I haven't really got much to say actually. We've had some good times and some bad times in the last year, but the one thing that definitely hasn't changed is my relationship with this forum and how much I love it so. Everyone here is nice and for once on the internet it feels like I belong somewhere, and that sense of belonging is
One thing I forgot to cover in detail in my previous blog entry was regarding how my game fits into the 6m core values of the LEGO company. Once again, this is all just generalisation at this stage, but since it's part of the reason I'm making this game (to make a LEGO game which actually matches all the values), I need to address them in some capacity.
The 6 Core Values:
Imagination: It's important that kids can have enough freedom to express their ideas and develop th
High Level Overview
Welcome! Over the coming months in my spare time, I will be developing a new LEGO fan-game called LEGO Investigations. Before I can build the full title, I need to make a vertical slice that demonstrates the full thing is feasible and will be worth the effort it will take.
In this High Level Overview, I will be going over some generalities. In my next blog, I will upload a golden path chart, beat sheet, level design plan as well as an asset list and potential
Just wanted to leave a post here just in case the topic gets lost in the daily replies of other topics, August 13th an RRU UHC event is happening. I'll need people signed up by a certain date. All the details are in the forum post I updated. Thank you! #RandomPost
It's that time again! Shadowblaze versus Consistent Schedules! Fight! This is gonna be a hell of a match.
A new 16-bit music with orchestra and very derpy sounds in true Earthbound fashion. Enjoy!
this is just a random thing I did one evening, thanks to a lot of research and a lot of time, and help from previously purchased assets to help with animating. kbye
I'm sure many of you have heard of it already, but if you haven't, head over to LEGO Ideas to check out EnigmaticBuild's Maelstrom Spider model! He's done an awesome job capturing the shape of the spider's body, and it's just the right size for a successful set release(taking into account the majority of previous successful submissions).
I usually write a lot of stuff for my music on SoundCloud or YouTube, but in each one I write something different to reward who checks both of them. You could go check.
Enjoy!
I didn't want to go through and make a forum post for this, so I am posting this here. I have a realms month subscription coming my way, and I was curious if anyone would be interested in an UHC Event around July 9th (Saturday). If I see any interest, I'll set it up accordingly in a post.
Hello everyone!
This is my first blog entry. To start this off, I found these concept arts for Knights Kingdom 2. I found these concept arts interesting, but, I thought if, anyone was interested to see these!
Here's a link to the artist: http://www.mikerayhawk.com/knights_kingdom.htm
Let me know if you want more of my blog posts in comments below!
Edit: A showcase for transforming the castle to Vladeks. Cool, huh!
A Mega Man style music! It actually is quite far from that though, but I don't care. I like this better. I really enjoy the melodies here, I'm sure even who doesn't usually listen to this kind of music (electronic-orchestral-metal-Touhou?) would like it.
Enjoy!
About April this year, I dreamed up a game in my head. It would be a successor to Drome Racers where players could build their cars, SPORE-style, and then race them through the post-apocalyptic ruins of the Drome Staduim. Then, in my free time in school and at home, I actually started an attempt at building it from scratch. No Unity, no Unreal, and no XNA, because really, the project was mostly about learning as much as possible.
Now that summer's here, I have a job and not really mu
